POST is a free NHS service in Tayside which aims to support children, young people (aged 16 years and under) and their families to manage their weight. Our team members, called POST practitioners, are experienced healthcare professionals.

Our aim is to help you to establish healthy family lifestyles by offering a healthy weight programme that targets positive changes in family diet, physical activity levels and screen time.

Our programmes are FREE to all children and young people aged 2-15 and their families living in Tayside who need our support.

We offer support through our clinical service, community groups and the Fun Fit Tayside schools programme.

Jigsaw Group

Details:

The Jigsaw Group is for children between 0-3 years where the parent has a concern about their child's development.  For example, the child may have a disability or a health difficulty or they might behave in a way that worries the parent or they may seem different to other children the same age.  The group offers children a safe and exciting place to play and parents have the opportunity to meet other parents who have similar concerns.  Staff are also on hand if parents wish to access support on an informal basis.

Families need to be referred to the group.  For more information or to make an enquiry about a referral contact one of the team below:

DDCA is open for you to come and play with your family and carers on…Tuesdays and Fridays, 4pm – 5.30pm

These “drop-in”sessions, like all our activities, are FREE!
