Jigsaw Group

Details:

The Jigsaw Group is for children between 0-3 years where the parent has a concern about their child's development.  For example, the child may have a disability or a health difficulty or they might behave in a way that worries the parent or they may seem different to other children the same age.  The group offers children a safe and exciting place to play and parents have the opportunity to meet other parents who have similar concerns.  Staff are also on hand if parents wish to access support on an informal basis.

Families need to be referred to the group.  For more information or to make an enquiry about a referral contact one of the team below:

Every Sunday The Yard runs an adventure play service for disabled children, young people, their siblings and friends in Dundee. So come and give it a try. Call us on 07703 468 173 or email val@theyardscotland.org.uk to book a session.

The Yard is an adventure play centre where disabled children and young people can come along with their family, carer, support/social worker and foster parents.

Our ethos is to encourage children to experience risk and adventure in freeplay, facilitated and supported by our specialist playworkers and volunteers.
